...along comes another fubar. Why not tune the internals properly before shipping and leave well enough alone?

Is this going to be a whole-sale product line change to strictly externals? Like Tracy, I'd like to see better attention paid to fitting and adjustment of the internal extractors. The fix is simple, and keeps the purists heart warm.

Az & Dpc are right on the money. Is this going to be an across the line change to externals? If so, I'll be keeping my internal extractor Sevens with the mutant forged frames thank you very much.

I'm sure glad Colt still makes a traditional 1911.

Hmm, I have been considering a Pruitt model, but wanted to wait until they did something about the BUTT-UGLY slide graphics, which I heard was in the works. If it means it's also going to come with an external extractor, nevermind.
