Recently picked up a P9 Covert and would like to start loading for it. Anyone have experience with the Kahr poly-rifled barrels and lead bullets? I know that the rule is no lead in poly Glocks. Do poly barrels lead more than standard barrels? If I keep my loads sedate can I get by with no leading? Reason I ask is that my club's indoor range is for cast bullets only.

My K9 shoots 147 gr Magnus hard cast lead very well. Kahr rifling is considerably different from the Glocks. I tried lead in my G35 and wasn't pleased with the results (lousy accuracy and heavy lead fouling). With the Kahr I can shoot 2-300 rds with almost no leading of the bore, what is there cleans out very easily. Accuracy is OK, nothing more.

Man that's great, just the answer I wanted to hear. As an aside, have you tried moly-coated cast bullets in your G35? One of molys benefits was touted to be less/no leading. I wonder if it would make a difference?
