I recentlly purchased a new Kimber Custom CDP II Government size.

I am replacing the "PLASTIC" MSH.

What if any have you replaced your's with..Wilson, S&A, Kimber, Nighthawk, etc.?

I have the S&A Stainless with the magwell on the way...I think this will be a nice improvement over the plastic.

I also replaced the factory wood grips with Ivory Mammoth Tusk grips. I like the feel and looks of Ivory. Some think it looks sissy, or too dressed up...but for those that think that remember General George Patton (ol' blood and guts) had ivory (not Pearl) on most of his pistols, I don't think he was much of a sissy...

I'm leaning towards something a little more flashy like Ed Brown Chainlink or Snakeskin. And I'm wondering if maybe an arched checkered would feel better. If I go arched flat or checkered, I'll likely go with Fusion. He's selling on eBay and Gunbroker for $30 delivered. There are pics here and it looks like it was custom made for the Kimber.

If you want to keep it as light as possible then try the AL ones from VZ like I did. Nicely done.
