Kimber II related questions.

Does Kimber plan to continue production of non-Kimber-II (i.e. series-70) guns?


Also, has anyone had any trouble getting custom parts working on a Kimber 2? It is no disrespect for Kimber as stock guns; but my 2 low-end stainless (fullsize and compact) have had their trigger groups electively replaced by STI parts - would such surgery be impeded on Kimber-II guns? What about series-70 aftermarket grip safeties?
