I have a Kimber TLE II, shot around 4k rounds, thinking of buying some parts from Ed Brown, anyone have any feed back on them? I was told by my local gun smith that the HardCore slide stop would be a good piece to add on? The SS Beavertail is what I'm really interested in & the Ambi-Safety, the rest of the parts just came along for the ride and to add to the Stainless on Blued look. I've been told to replaced the barrel bushing after 5k rounds. Kind of a remodeling project as well.

Item 1) #868-1 Beavertail w/ Memory Groove, 80 Series, Stainless @ $35.95
Item 2) #893-T Ambi-Safety, Tactical, Stainless @ $57.95
Item 3) #810-HCS Hardcore Slide Stop, Stainless @ $35.95
Item 4) #855 Standard Magazine Release, Stainless @ $21.95
Item 5) #833 Drop-in Bushing, Stainless @ $19.95
Item 6) #804 Hex Head Grip Screws, Stainless @ $7.50

I'm still learning the ins and outs of the 1911.

Thanks, for the advice. I'll look and see if Kimber offers the barrel bushing.

I was planning on haveing a gunsmith work on the grip saftey and install the ambi-safety. How much material is removed from the frame?
