Well, it finally happened. All of my kimber magazines jam upon feed instead of feeding reliably. Which parts can I get to replace the followers/springs? It appears that the magazines are welded/taced together, and can't be easily opened, is there a method? Which reliable magazines can I get for my Ultra Carry Stainless that will remain reliable?

<>> presence, you can get the followers out if you push down on the follower then capture the spring by putting something thru one of the witness holes to hold the spring. then you can work the follower out. just be carful when you let up on the spring, or else it will go flying. you can replace everything the same way. or else you can just send the magazines to me and i'll save you all the hassle. raspy

I put a 7/8-rnd Chip McCormick spring/follower conversion in my formerly 6-rnd Kimber-supplied magazine for $10.95. Ordered off McCormick's web site (http://www.shooterstore.com/acb/showprod.cfm?&DID=45&User_ID=181009&st=9026&st2=-76788133&st3=462305524&CATID=187&ObjectGroup_ID=128), goods arrived in less than a week. Works great! Likeed it so much that I bought another one to convert my full-sized factory mag on my CST. No failures on either, and very cost effective.

Regards,
TBob
