Been looking for the the Ultra Ten II, S.A, TX area, and Dallas as well - no Luck. Anyone heard anything on when we'll actually see this?

If anyone has see it, what's it going for, and what's it's availability.

I've a Pro Carry HD, and want something smaller for CCW.

I was at a gun store earlier this month looking for one as well. The owner had been getting a few requests so while I was there he called Kimber. The story line:
Kimber has not been making the polymer frames - that has been done overseas (Israel, I believe). They have been difficulties trying to get the polymer receiver imported. Problems getting BATF approval. Some prototypes have been made, but nothing in quantity over here. Now Kimber is supposedly changing their strategy. They are going to buy the polymer manufacturing equipment themselves and make the polymer component here in the US. It is going to take time to purchase the equipment, install it, train employees, build an inventory, etc. The bottom line I got was we won't see them on the shelves this year and maybe not until the middle of next year.

We know they have at least made prototypes. At least one gun magazine has tested it and I could have sworn I saw a post from someone here saying that they saw one at a gun show.

I wasn't going to wait, I picked up an Eclipse Ultra instead.

That huge sound of rushing air that you just heard was me sighing in relief.

That American Handgunner (I think) review of the Ultra Ten II was what started me down the road of 1911 ownership. Before reading that article, I had been - for 30+ years - a confirmed wheelgunner. But I decided I had to have that nifty little .45 on the magazine cover.

I couldn't find one. I finally convinced myself I would be better off with an Ultra Carry. I had all sorts of reasons, but I know the real reason: I could get the Ultra Carry now. I expected to have to wait a couple of months for the Ultra Ten.

I see I would still be waiting. Hence the sign of relief.

Selling a Kimber Ultra ten CDP II

Looking to sell a Kimber Ultra Ten CDP II, in the San Antonio area. The pistol is good for CCW due to it's compact size, a polymer frame, one ten round clip and is in very very good condition. I have Fired about 100+ rounds with this pistol. If interested please feel free to contact me for more info.

PISTOL HAS BEEN SOLD!!!!!
