i was just looking at cdnn's book and they have krd mags for $6.99..... i have them in my browning hp and they are great... Anyone here use them in the 1911's ?

I have a bud that bought a bunch for his Hi-Power. Same as you, no failures, work great. That success made me decide to try 5 of them for my Colt. Absolute junk. See this thread:

Too late they came in the mail already.. and they are junk...they jam, springs are weak and the follower gets stuck
