A little story, so I hope I don't bore you...

My wife and son (son's idea - only 5, wife's money) decided to buy me a holster for my birthday. More and more time went by before she finally called and placed the order.

When she called, she was told there was an 8-10 week wait. Of course, it was only a week until my birthday. My wife explained that and said she would appreciate it if they could have it ready for her to give me for Christmas.

Well, the door bell rang this morning and there was UPS with my new VM2 for my BHP waiting at the door. This was about 2 weeks from the time she ordered, to delivery.

This is a group of guys that really care about their customers. It's not the first time they went out of their way, but I won't get into every story. This, and the great holsters they make, is why I continue to do business with them whenever I need good quality leather products.

Special thanks from me and my family!

Happy birthday and Early Merry Christmas. I agree completely, the folks at Milt Sparks Holsters and Tony Kanaley are genuinely first class people.
Ricky T, Thanks and Merry Christmas to you, too! I would have replyed sooner, but I got blown out of here for several days, right after posting this msg.

Glad to be back.

That's a good one Lou.
Glad to see some comedy.....The last thing I wanted, was for my post to become negative in any way. I, too, have waited a full 8-10 weeks for some of my purchases, when it wasn't my birthday!!!!! They were just helping a damsel in distress.;wink

Hey now, my new VM2 is to replace the CQC/S I currently use. So I don't want any lip from you Mr. Alessi.

Well, replace may not be the right word. More like compliment.

Happy Birthday to Me !!!!! My NP-1 got here last Thursday !!!!

It's soooo comfortable, and a work of art.

Thank you Tony.
ohh yeah I can't wait for my np-2. I called last week to change the shipping address so it won't sit outside for a month while i am out of town (would hate to see what happens to it after being in colorados climate for a month!). They said that some were being made right now (and I believe he said one of them is mine!) so I should see it next week (maybe this week if they get done early or if shipping is fast). I am extatic. This is the very first holster I have purchased from Tony. I expect it to be a long and fruitful (I want to buy LOTS!) relationship :).

Still Waiting on my NP-2, 10 weeks and counting. Hope it gets here before Christmas (Hint,Hint Tony);)....not MY birthday but................
By sheer coincidence my VM2 arrived just before my birthday in November. I'd gotten some pretty neat stuff, including a gorgeous spotting scope from my adoring wife, but all I could talk about was my "Birthday Present from "JJ" at Milt Sparks."

You know what's really cool? The more you wear it, the better it is. I don't sleep with it on...but I do wear it during naps! :D
Sparks gunleather products are the best on the planet. Period!

But if you want a shoulder rig, they won't make one. :( I just got a Galco Jackass yesterday. Easy to adjust and plenty comfy. Really tight, needs to be broken in. Good looking holster but NOWHERE CLOSE to a Sparks in quality, finish, material, or craftsmanship.

Sparks is king of the mountain.
Might as well add my two cents here as well. I ordered a Versa Max II as a Christmas present, from my wife to me. The holster arrived a few weeks ago. Since we will be spending Christmas out of town with the in laws, I decided to open it yesterday. My reasoning was I didn't feel like opening a gift from the wife in front of everyone, then have to explain why a holster, etc.

It's been a couple of years since I bought a new Milt Sparks holster, but I'm still amazed at the quality product these folks produce. This holster is gorgeous:D ! The workmanship is fantastic. I placed my pistol inside to check for fit, and it felt like it was molded on. I held it upside down and shook it, and it wouldn't budge. When I drew it from the holster I could feel that slight pressure, and then it slid right out.

What some horses will do to make me happy;). geegee
Well the man in brown knocked on my door yesterday and presented my with a little white box. Yep, my NP-2 from Milt Sparks Holsters.

As I've come to expect, fit and finish is first-rate. With my SA Compact nestled in it, it seemed to feel like it "carried lighter" then in some of my other holsters. Probably due to it's design. I did not experience any rocking or shifting of the holster on my belt. After a couple of dozen dry-fire practice presentations, my pistol was smoothly comming out of the holster. Plenty of clearance between the beltline and grip to wrap your fingers around, yet does not ride excessively high. Re-holstering was solid.

Thanks Tony. :D
Thanks all!

We aims to please! :D

Tony and the gang have been busy. I just got back from Helen, GA, and a little white box is on my doorstep with my dual mag holder for my G-36 Glock to match the VM-2 I got last year, along with the belt I ordered and the holder for my Surefire 6-P. As expected, everything is top shelf stuff, matches last years holster perfectly, and in fact was here quicker than expected. Now I need to save up for the holster and mag carrier for my 1911.
Thanks Tony, and thank Nick for being so patient with me on the phone while I was ordering, it took me two calls to finally get everything on the order I wanted, I started just to get the mag carrier, but a week later I found out I needed the 6-P carrier, and decided I wanted the belt, and they all arrived together, what great service.
I ordered my second Sparks holster (VM-2) on October 31. It arrived yesterday. Wow! The quality is just what I expected, excellent! It fits my Kimber Ultra perfectly, no blocking required. This is the most comfortable holster I've used. Hey Tony, you guys are good! :D
