Had some lead buildup in my barrel right next to the land/groove transition on the groove surface so I picked up some of the lead away cloth.

I ran 5 one inch patches through using all ten sides. I doubled them up to make sure they contacted the area where the lead was and ran them through while scrubbing back and forth a few times. Boy did they come out black!! After that process there was only a teeny weeny bit left, not even enough to worry about.

I definitely recommend them.

Don't throw those away yet. They keep removing lead long after they turn black, honest. A strip about 1" x 4" is enough to clean a stainless .44 magnum revolver, including chamber face.

Also, use only on stainless or non-blued steel.
