How long does it take to make the list of approved guns in Calif? My understanding is that the Operator has been submitted. Any thouhgts! thanks

I don't know all the details...but I have been waiting to see the CZ 75 Champion on the list for some time now. Apparently, it meets CA specs but CZ has not put up the $$$. If this is the case, looks like CADOJ list appearances can vary greatly.

Like sniper said, the company has to put up the dough to have it listed, the company has to provide the pistols to be tested as well. B&B sales told me that even the finish affects the listing. it can be the exact same gun with different finish, but not be legal for sale because they didn't test the gun in that finish. Pretty repressive.
What is a decent price on a mil-spec, and operator. I know the op isn't available yet in CA. I saw a mil-spec for around 450. Is that decent, or would that be paying out the you know where.
