I don't know about hard chroming a WW2 repro, but from aesthetic point of view, I like silver handguns in general

What I do know is that if you ever consider hardchroming your WW2 try the guys at AP&W

They do very nice work and turn around time isn't too bad.

My WW2 repro is # 1215, ironically the year the Magna Carta was signed!I didn't get the checkered trigger or the "United States Property " stamped on it though. It shoots awesome !! I need to get the WW1 repro as I have 3 real ones already.need a cam though. has anyone else shot theirs?

Hey Bodeen were did you buy the trigger and thumb safety from?

There is a parts vendor that works the local gunshows that has alot of new and used milsurp parts.I have bought alot of stuff from him.
The parts that I have changed are as follows: trigger,thumb safety,rear sight,mag catch,extractor,recoil spring plug and hammer.I have a new front sight for it also,I have'nt gotten around to installing it yet.

has anyone else shot theirs?

I have shot mine and it shoots very well.
