My recently acquired CMP service grade has a barrel marked “LMR”. Can anyone tell me about them? I can’t seem to find much other than they have a good reputation and are found most often on IHC and HRA rifles.

They are very good barrels. If I remember correctly they were made in Birmingham Alabama.
