Well, after deciding that I needed a single stack, a shiney new Black Stainless followed Me home from the gun shop. Can't wait to get to the range for a test fire ! Damn these 1911's - they're worse than peanuts. If I ever figure out how to transfer pics, I'll post a "family" picture . Bob

Any idea as to how they make the stainless black? Do you clean and care for the finish like you would a regular stainless gun?

Just wondering since I am looking for another 1911... damn peanuts...

It's a shooter !!!!!

Only managed about 200 rounds thru it today, but if I did My part there was a single ragged hole ! POA was a bit differant than My Wilson, but once that was figured out - no problem . Ran flawlessly, with out a hic-up. Nice and tight - I'm impressed. Bob
