I actually called Springfield the other day about that. The Loaded version is basically a mil-spec with a full length guide rod, target trigger, Novak night sights, carry bevel treatment, beavertail grip safety and a few other things. It's a better value for the money, and you can replace the full length guide rod. There are no other internal differences between the Mil-spec and the loaded version other than the full length guide rod.
