I just got a quote from a dealer on a "Loaded" Milspec. I didn't know there was such a thing, I guess this is different from a standard Milspec? If so, what's the difference?

Thanks for the replys. I think what he was referring to was actually just a Mil Spec with the "loaded" coupons from Springfield to purchase accessories for cheaper than the normal price.

It looks like he has an actual loaded pistol in stainless for just a little over $100 more... sounds like a good deal, so I'll probably go with that. Only problem is, one reason I liked the Mil Spec was the lack of front cocking serrations and that it didn't have much in the way of markings on the slide, just "Springfield 1911-A1." I was thinking of one day having it customized and thought it would make a good base gun. I'll probably go with the loaded version after all, though, and just replace the slide with a Caspian later on if I decide to go the custom route with it.
