Greetings,

I‘m wondering if anyone has a Titegroup load that will push a 200 grain LSWC at about 800 FPS From a Colt Lightweight Commander.

Thanks in advance.

Wish I could help. I use Titegroup a lot, sadly mostly with 185gr LSWC and 230gr LRN. I built a bunch of loads with 200gr RNFP and LSWCs, but used W231 and N320. I hit all around your question but nothing that fit.

You are probably looking at 4.5 grains. That is a very light load. Lyman list 4.7 as a starting load with a 200gr jhp for 845fpsd. Google Hodgdon Load Data and you can see their recommendations

Is there a reason, other just because, that you are trying for an 800 fps load?

My .45 ACP 200 gr RNFP reloads for USPSA (Major PF, 840 fps) were 4.7 gr of Titegroup; perhaps down a tenth or two should be quite close to your desired 800 fps..

Around 4.7 tg would be close, factoring in a short and loose stock colt bbl.
