Just picked up a Kimber Classic Stainless and would like to find a good Clays load for 185 gr. flatpoints. If anyone has had any experience with this combo please let me know..

I use 4.0 grains of CLAYS with a 200 grain lead SWC. You might try 4.2 grains with a 185 for a soft shooting target load.

I use 3.5gr. of clays, Soft recoil and very accurate. This is my steel challenge load. It's fired from a Charles Daly with a fitted Kart barrel.

I'm using 3.6 gr Clays, but with the variation I get from my Uniflow with those flakes, it can go from as high as 3.8 to as low as 3.4! Most often meters within a tenth of a grain. Still a nice light load with good accuracy for bullseye. Very clean burning powder, but I wish it measured like W231.
