Hi,

Sitting here at home, I just dialed in my A2 sight on my AR as per the improved battle sight zero method on the Maryland AR shooters site. In doing so, I'm concerned that I've really thrown off my sight.

I follwed the instructions as per the method and everything seems fine except that when set to "8/3" the entire sight appears to be canted counterclockwise/left when looking down on it from a birds eye view. It straightens out somewhat as i raise the sight up, most noticeably when it hits "4" and gradually more so as it goes further up.

My understanding is that this adjustment should not be modifying windage at all.

Anyone have some input? (i'd ask on AR15.com but, ya know)

Someone had posted this on arf.com not long ago, and the response was that it was normal.

I also have mine set to improved battle sight and never noticed if it was slightly turned or not.

just looks weird. I wish i had examined it before diggin in with the allen wrench. I guess the real test will be the range. Thanks.
