I ordered a mag release with button extension for my Para Ordnance Warthog. I've never had problems removing and replacing until now. I took the guts out of my stock release and installed the new one. I had a horrible time getting that one to work propertly. Once I finally did I decided I'll just use the stock piece. I put it back together reinstall and now it will not depress very far and clicks when it does so. I cant get the retainer to turn far enough to remove it. It doesnt move enough to insert a mag either.

Am I completely screwed?

are you exerting various pressure on the release as you try to turn the retainer? It can be a very narrow window of how far in you push the mag release that will allow the retainer to turn.

I had to drill it out. Ive got parts on order. Best I can figure is that the lock got damaged when I insalled the new magazine catch which wasnt finished as precisely as the stock piece. I have parts on back order so should have my gun up and running soon enough.
