I too will buy no more alloy framed 1911's.

I think that there are some real advantages to the LW guns. And, the magazine follower problems can be managed by selecting the right magazines. I recently traded into a used Colt's CCO and a new Springfield Armory Bi-tone Lightweight. And, one of the new Super .38 XSE LW Commanders might also be a great temptation if I ran across one!

Just Ordered From Wilson

Reading all of ya'll posts made me take a serious look at my Ultra CDP II. It has just started to get very minor marks from the OEM Kimber mags. Ordered some of Wilson #19 (spring & follower) for my mags. Thanks to this forum and ya'll I will save my pride and joy,and my CCW (my Kimber).-------
