It's from the tip of the muzzle to the rear of the chamber,I think the hood extension is included also but not positive.
Measuring barrel length
When you measure barrel length on a semi-auto pistol, at what points do you start and stop the measurement, in other words measure from where to where?

The legal procedure is to run a rod down the barrel until it stops against the breechface. Mark and measure.
