I have been considering trading a HK 40 S&W USP Compact LEM for a SA Micro Compact in 40 S&W. The HK shoots flawlessly, but 1911’s just seem to fit my hand better, love the single action triggers, and consequently I shoot them more accurately. I have two Kimbers in 45ACP (great guns) but I’m not impressed with their offerings in the 40. I’ve red a lot of the posts regarding the Micro’s on this form and have come to the conclusion that some have had their usual share of 1911 problems. My question is: Does anyone have actual experience with the 40S&W version?

I’m looking forward to your input, experiences, and humble opinions.

I have two SA .40 compacts in my shop because of functioning problems. I haven`t looked at them yet I probably won`t be able to get to them until the end of the week. I`ll give you a rundown then.
