I just saw at my dealers a used Mil-Spec micro-compact, with a factory ported bbl. I really like the officers size for CCW since i just got my permit. They are asking 300.00 for it it is in the factory box and in great shape. My dealer said they do not make that model anymore. I have not been able to find one on the net. Anybody can tell me anything about this model and approximate value?

Sounds like it is one of the Mil-Spec Ultra Compacts. It has a 3 1/2" barrel instead of the Micro's 3". I have a Micro and love it. I have not had a single problem that Jammer has decribed. I have wanted one of the ported Ultra's. They offered several different ported models of it with the Mil-Spec being the base model. I would buy it for $300 without a second thought.

I have an Ultra that is ported (the V10) and love it. $300 is an awesome price for one in the condition you describe. Springfield does have a lifetime warranty.
