Minor Adjustment

The thumb safety on my new Kimber Pro Carry has scratched the finish off the frame underneath it. When the safety is engaged you can see the shiny aluminum frame. I know this does not affect the gun, but for aesthetic reasons I was wondering if the safety can be adjusted/smoothed around the corners so it will not continue to scratch the frame. BTW, this did not happen on my Kimber Custom.

I have the same thing on my Ultra SS. I really cant imagine anything that will fix this. It is after all aluminum. Only idea I can think of is having an aluminum safety. Of course this wont help us now, and most people want as much steel as they can get so shoot it and enjoy it, call it character if you want :>
