As I posted here last weekend, the link pin fell out of my SA Champion after last Saturday's range session. I ordered Wilson replacement links & pins (2 each) along with a set of hex head grip screws.

Well, I just opened the package and there's a problem... sort of

I DID get my pins and grips screws, but no links. They show up on the invoice but were not in the package. What WAS in the package instead were 2 #47 Wilson-Rogers 7 round mags.

I believe the price difference here works "slightly" in my favor as I was charged $5.25 each for the links and the mags list around $30 each. Am I going to call and rant about the screwed up order? Would anyone?

Think I'll just use the new pin and the old link and order again if there's still a problem. Hell, maybe if I do they'll send me a couple 8 rounders!

Anybody suggest otherwise?

LOL!!!

Its not very often that screw-ups work in your favor, enjoy it.

Does the Wilson pin fit any tighter in the lug?

I miked it and it's .0015 larger diameter than the stock pin. Doesn't sound like much, but it's enough that it won't shake out on it's own. I put a light dab of GI slide grease on it (50 cents per vial at the gunshow) and everything seems to be good to go.

Sweet deal on the mags Maclean3

I'll give you $10 each for the mags. You've almost doubled your investment

I've been following your ordeal on Range Reports and went to check out how it's going here.

Let us know how it works out.

Ross T.

I wonder if you ordered a whole bunch of mags if they might accidently send you a pistol
