In August the rear night sight on my fairly new Kimber failed during a night shoot. I contacted customer service and they told me to return the slide to have it fixed. At the time, I had a lot of matches on my schedule, so I had to wait until last week to send it.

Last Tuesday (late afternoon) I had the slide of my Kimber shipped back to the factory.

The slide arrived at my home (in Indiana) this afternoon with the repair nicely completed, all under warranty.

That is excellent service!

Thank you, Kimber!

I'm not really sure!

I was shooting and it was there, then on a subsequent string of fire it wasn't. I'm not sure when it went out because I was using my light held on my left jaw, so it was tough to see the glow on the rear sight anyway.

I suspect the tritium vial broke. This was the "bar" in the adjustable rear sight.

THey are pretty good

I had to call Kimber for a booklet for my new Kimber. Lo and behold, a week later, they sent it and a tool I needed with no questions or problems. Props to Kimber. :)
