Today i took my Daly to the range again to test out a new magazine I got for it. Bought a Chip McCormick "Shooting Star" 8 rounder from CDNN, price- $9.99. It performed flawlessly, however to seat the mag you do have to hold in the mag ejector button. Can this be fixed or is this how the Shooting stars are typically? Also to let people know, I also ran 230 gr. Hydrashoks thru it and they fed just like ball ammo. I will continue to run the hydrashoks thru , but they fed perfectly.

The mag release or mag may have a sharp edge, as I've had a couple pistols do the same. If you're handy, check the lip of the mag and mag release for the sharp edge and "slightly "round off where they meet with a stone or file. Sometimes, just using it a little will wear it in.

If not, call McCormick and see what they recommend - have had great luck with their mags.

Glad to hear the Daly ran well - seem to be a great deal!
