I was looking for some pictures of a Coonan That I told Ned C. that I had, but could not find them. I did find these pics of a Coonan and thought they were worth sharing.
If you have ever heard someone talk about low flash powders , they were not referring to these!!
This first shot is a Coonan .357 magnum with Blue dot

This is with 296

The pictures were taken in a dark range with the camera on a tripod, the shutter held open with a cable release. The only available light for the exposure was the muzzle flash!! Pretty cool. Not very tactical but cool.

The really cool thing was, while shooting these flamethrower rounds you could see right through the tunnel of fire it was a big tube, and it swirled.
It was a fun experiment. I am 6 feet tall . That makes the flash from the 296 about 5 ft long!

Cool,,,,I'd love to get some pics of my Ported Springfield. It throws some pretty impressive flames,,,,but nothing near that.
