My Colt damages the little exposed lead part of the serrated "petals" when I extract a live round. The round tends to get hung/wedged in the chamber. The nose of the round is then buggered up.

I unload my gun practically every night to practice, dry fire and or clean. I am worried that the nicks in the nose might cause feeding problems so I have switched to FMJ for the time being.

Any comments or suggestions ?

Thx
