Went to an IDPA event in Belton, SC today and had a really good time.

Very challenging and excellent training. Some really nice folks too. I think I'll do more as the opportunity arises.

I was a bit slow, but my accuracy was good (or so everyone said), until the last section of the last stage shooting thru a 'window' at multiple targets, when I double tapped a no-shoot. Oops. The Colonel said "it must have been a Democrat." LOL.

Next time, I'll do better.

Nice to hear you're enjoying IDPA!

One of the things learned is the results of "tunnel vision"!

Happens to everyone.

One of my stages was "Don't shoot the Sheriff"! All the targets showed "guns", "cell phones", "wallets" or "water bottles"! The sheriff's "badge" was gold and larger than the "black gun"! Every shooter "killed" the sheriff with the exception of the "new" IDPA shooter! Much learning was the result!

Smiles,

Looks like you had fun, but that stage is toast. Good pic!
At least you showed good technique and got A's on the no shoot. That one ain't suing anybody. ;)
