I put some money down on a used TRP. It looks to have had very light use-looked nearly new, in fact. It's stainless, marked "TACTICAL" on the slide, no night sights (which I would change), but overall a great looking slab of steel.

Here's what made it really attractive to me: I recently acquired a $500 gift certificate from a guy who neeed the cash-I paid him $350 for it. I then went to the gun shop that issued the certificate, where I spotted the TRP, selling for $950. When I asked if that was the best price, I was able to get the price lowered to $925. By using my discounted gift certificate I'm really looking at a cost to me of $775, before taxes.

The guy at the gun store said that if I come back for the pistol and don't want it, he'd gladly allow me to change to another pistol (and their inventory is huge). What do guys think? Sound good, or not? geegee
