Hello,

I have a Kimber .22 conversion unit that does not always function. It feeds fine, but when I pull the trigger, the firing pin drops but does not always set off the round. It leaves a dent on the rim, but that is it. I can take the same round and put it in my Ruger Mark II and it will fire. I have tried different boxes of CCI mini-mag and had the same problem. Any suggestions as to how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the info.

Hey Wayne,

I just got my .22 kit in the mail Friday... and Saturday I blew through almost 400 rounds with only one failure exactly as you described. I figured that the bullet was a dud and tossed it, as all the others functioned flawlessly.

Have you called Kimber? They have an 800 phone line and could possibly help you.
