Ok, I've recently been "corrected" on my grip. Consequently I've developed a high thumb grip. The result is that I'm not engaging the grip safety properly. I'm hoping to solve that problem with a grip safety that has a palm swell.

Any recommendations (Series I Gold Combat)?

I have the same problem, and bought a Wilson safety with the palm swell. Haven't installed it yet, but hope to this week. Hope it works, will let you know.

You might want to try having a "pistolsmith" modify your existing beavertail first. They may be able to get it to work for you before you switch beavertails, which may involve grinding the frame and refinishing.

I have the same problem.

Good luck

Thanks. The person who pointed out my problem to me is going to do exactly that for me. If that doesn't do it for me then I'll move to the Wilson BT.
