Thank you - this has been a long time coming.

I took plenty of ammo with me, but I was delayed in traffic so much so that I'd have been too rushed at the range. Everyone and their dog was out on the road - can't be upset at them wanting to get out and see the sun after this past frozen week.

Where's your holster for it? haha

I carried my 29-2 ... once. My 1911s and other guns are enough for me.

That automag is a good looking gun and is my list of eventual buys.

I'm also looking forward to the range report.

I had to make a holster to fit my 6.5" Automag, so I could probably do it - but this thing seems to be almost as long as my thigh, so the mind boggles at the thought of strapping this thing on.

25 yards, unsupported

I had some .45 handloads with me, so I threw 20 downrange at 25 yards as well through my Talo Colt 1911:

I could only get one shot off - I had a failure to extract (not a problem with the pistol - I was holding lightly so I could get the most accurate shot) and after clearing the fired case I couldn't get the darn bolt open again. The recoil-springs are extremely strong and the cocking-piece is very slippery indeed.

Very irritating so I went to the 1911 instead

25 yards:

That's an impressive new toy and I love the touch with Harry's badge.
So with all this ammo shortage, where the heck do you find 44 amp ammo?
Not to mention which is more $$, the gun or the ammo for it?😁

Beautiful gun, congratulations. Needless to say that I’m a little jealous, I don’t think these will make it to Switzerland.

Reproducing the little oil bottle is a nice touch

And glad to see they are accurate guns, the old ones were.

Did you buy SBR ammo ? (Also unavailable here).

Starline makes the brass and SBR Ammunition makes factory ammo - I do handload, so ammo isn't an issue.

I have around 500 Starline cases, so I'm good for a while.

Thank you. I'm jealous of your '75 CZ, so we're even ;)

It would likely take a while before anything makes it overseas - they're really starting to now get into the swing of production, now that all of the aggravations are done and catching up to all the prepaid orders and then whatever else is in their pipeline - but it's early days yet and you may be able to order/get them there in the near future.

I had bought a few hundred rounds of SBR when I got my first AM - I was also handloading Starline cases and I wanted something commercial to compare my loads against.

It's funny - the little oil bottle probably tickled me the most, because I'd always wanted one :)
