Pretty grips, I love the "tactical" checkering style! Too often though, it destroys the beauty of the grain. Not so in your set!

I agree. I think her selection of grain for particular grips is smart. Checkering seems to wash out most grain, but when she gets a grain that stands up to it and still shows through, of course they are more $$$ but unique.

And those at first glance don't even look like 2 completely different surfaces. The tactical checkering is growing on me. I'm thinking maybe a pair of Andean Alder or Ivorywood or even Cocobolo Dorado might be a good addition to my HD's wardrobe. :D

Ours have similar grain and color patterns. ;)
