Some newsbot was just going on about this on the radio saying how the gun makers were marketing guns to children.
So why on earth would any business market a product to a demographic that cannot legally purchase it?

Gun ads show people having fun and doing cool things with firearms That's against the law? They sure do think so and they've already filed suit against Daniel Defense and others.

I wonder if the favorite products of the political left are marketed that way? Of course, you know, I know, and the town fool knows this is politics and not common sense.

Not too long ago (ok, it may have been 10-15 years ago) some consumer group or another got really mad at Subaru, for showing people having FUN in a car.. the driver in the ad saw a bit of twisty road in front of them, he dropped down a gear or two and mashed the gas, as he turned off the radio. The moral guardians, and I forget which specific group of malcontents it was, forced Subaru to pull the ad.

This is the kind of moral panic we're dealing with. If they're sore at Subaru for showing that driving can be fun, how sore do you think they are when they see kid-sized .22LR "AR-style" rifles in bright blue and pink?

This country needs a lobotomy. Or a Revoution. Either will do.

They could simplify matters considerable if they just use footage of her - somewhere - and splice in the Peanuts adult/teachers voice

If you control the entire media network you can make people do ANYTHING! Let's see - who's idea was it to let the Govt. license and control the media???

They say that they want more background checks. Next thing you know, they will have to do the NCIC or State police check on you twice every time that you buy a gun because once is not good enough.
