I saw a model S&W model 60 with a large grip, do they make this in a square grip model, or is this just a larger grip on the gun? Second how does this lock work, it seems you have a dial to move?

If this is a square gripped frame, is it hard to convert to a rounded gripped traditional size?

Round butt with an oversize grip I do believe. Should be no need to convert. Take the grips off and see what I mean. You can just buy whatever grips suit your fancy, but if you do touch off some magnum loads you'll be wanting as much comfortable grip as possible.

Lock; insert key, turn, flag pops up and it is locked. I don't use the lock on mine but it's there should I ever feel the need (darn it anyway ;)).
