First let me say that I have never been a fan of stock out of the box 1911’s
I just got a pro carry 2 stainless with night sights.
This is my first Kimber.
I took it home and disassembled, cleaned and looked it over.
My first impression was pretty good.
The only things I noted was the slide was finished a little rough at the front,
and the beaver tail safety was a little stiff for my liking.
The slide and barrel fit seemed good for a production gun.

I took it to the range and put some ammo through it 100 Federal American Select 230 gr.
Not one problem and it printed very nice groups.
The trigger felt much better than other “stock” 1911’s I have used.
So far impressed with this pistol.
It is a little rough compared to my competition guns but I feel it is a good value for the money.
I feel this will be a nice carry gun.
I will shoot it a lot more before I decide to make any changes.

At this point I would give it two thumbs up…

I have the Pro Carry II SS without night sights. I am very happy with it. I do plan to add night sights to it though.
