I would not worry that your new pistol does not have the loaded indicator notch cut in the barrel. This is an unnecessary feature that is being provided for marketing only. I would say that the barrel in your new pistol is at least as good as the one in your previous pistol, and is probably a better one that is also installed properly. 2 inches at 25 yards with the ammo describes is very good accuracy. I suggest that you enjoy your new pistol, and tell everyone that will listen how good Springfield service is.
