On that tisas, does the top of the hammer have a rounded profile? Mine did and over several hundred rounds that hammer wore the disconnector rail at the notch with the series 80 plunger. Did considerable damage until I noticed it and replaced the hammer with one from Auto Ordnance. You might want to check yours.

Any good quality 1911 magazine will work. I like Tripp Cobra Mags, and Wilson 47D.

I had a Tisas series 80 a few years ago. It was sold as a 1911a2. I presently have a Tisas 1911a1 and it's a series 70.

That's the only thing missing from my pistol cabinet.
The Tanker 45 is rapidly becoming my favorite 1911.

Saw it last night and going to order on as soon as the money shows up!

After 75rds and a minor cleaning the trigger has settled at a very nice 4.75lbs. I feel zero need to change this trigger.

And she is dead on accurate. I didn't use paper but I was cleaning the clocks on full soda cans at 15 yards...they explode so nicely. The sights are poa/poi, just kiss the center to the tip of the sight and squeeze.

It needs some extractor tuning though....ejection to my face/forehead with mag in, and the 1 round no mag test failed. Cases get trapped or fall out the bottom. That's another thread.

I love the pistol.
