Hello all, was hoping someone could clear something up for me. I am familiar with the field stripping process for a full-size 1911 with a bushing, but while reading an article on the CDP series pistols, it mentioned and showed a pi like device that I am unfamiliar with. I realize this has probably been covered before, but i could not find it. Any help would be appreciated as I am interested in the CDP line, but do not want to jump into anything too foreign. Thanks in advance.

The full size strip as you indicated.
The Pro has a "L" shaped tool that you insert into the recoil rod and you remove the slide.
It's rather simple and straighforward. I can do it---it has to be simple. *LOL*
