I've admired them for years and never pulled the trigger on a 1911. But curiosity finally got the best of me and a Ruger SR1911-cmd followed me home last month. I've put about 100 rounds through it and I can honestly say I get it now. It's a pleasure to shoot. It's my first but probably not my last 1911.

I have a few Ruger revos too. So far, I'm impressed with this SR1911
