I saw a standard Loaded Model in the cabinet tonight...... $650

It was Parked(I think).... It had all black Novak sights.....and flat serrated m/s housing.

I couldn't see the right side to see if it had ambi safety or not.

Don't the NEW Loaded models come with....

Night sights?

Ambi safeties?

Checkered m/s housing?

Was it made in Brazil? A couple months ago all the Springfields I seen were made in Brazil.

Never got to touch it.... just saw it thru the glass. The more I think about it that Loaded must've been Blued, it was much Darker than my MilSpec.

I think only the parkerized lodaded model comes with the night sight inserts. The rest are just plan novak sights.

The frame is made in Brazil and maybe the slide also.There is nothing wrong with the parts from Brazil,and the "loaded "does have the ambi safety.The "loaded" is a nice handgun for the money,probably the BEST DEAL for the dollar.It's "loaded " with match and comp parts *I really like mine and it's very accurate........Chris

Okay, I checked the Springfields' website and what I must have seen was a Blued Loaded model.

I like it!

I just may get one.....

I e-mail Springfield a couple weeks ago about Brazil parts

and they told me in their reply that only the slide and frame are made there. All other parts are American and they are built here. At least that's what they told me. Phil...

Follow up......

Today I bought a Parked Loaded full size.....Merry Christmas to me .....

Its features are:

• Novak Night Sites
• 2 piece guide rod (stainless rod and blued head)
• Wilson Ambi safety
• flat serrated ILS m/s housing
• Blued 2 piece barrel w/ polished hood
• Very nice full checkered grips .....Cocobolo maybe?
• Very tight slide to frame fit
• 2 7rd blued mags

Now off to the range first thing tomorrow!

Congrats! Mine's a tackdriver and my favorite pistol. Did it come witht he Loaded coupon? If so, get a couple extra mags--mine have all worked flawlessly and its a deal for the price.
