My new Baer TRS has night sights first pistol to have them. I just wondering how long they should last before having to be replaced.

Tritium has a half-life of 12.3 years. Assuming your sights are very bright now, they will only be half as bright in 12 years from now.

Trijicon Service

I didn't realize how dim the night sight vials on my Les Baer Concept X (about five years old) were getting until I bought a new Les Baer Custom Carry early this year. The green vials on the new one just jump out at you in the dark, but my carry gun's vials are a distinctly faded green now.

I sent an email to Trijicon, and received a reply the next day, saying that if they're Trijicon vials (they are indeed) that they'd replace them under warranty. Very nicely handled by Trijicon, I must say.

I haven't gotten around to shipping the slide off to them yet, but I will, soon.
