Again I seek your opinions and advice.

You are bugging out.
You are limited by law (where I am from this is a possibility).
You can't afford more.

Your have three weapons to take.
Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun.

What would they be?

FNFAL .308
HK USP Tactical .45ACP
870

What do you think?

Bug-out eh? Ok here goes

H&K 7.62 cal
Beretta 9mm
Rem 870 12 ga.

I like these cause ammo is easy to get everywhere, parts should be no problem, and they are all reliable, very reliable.

Now we see here gentlemen someone who appreciates the finer things in life!!
I have about 75% of the money in the gun account (the one the wife knows nothing about) for my own PSG1 7.62mm. I used one in the service and fell in love.

Perhaps its little brother the HK33A2, instead of the AR15?? (I lean to that with which I have had the most experience)

Maybe the HK UMP in .45 ACP or .40 S&W?

Oh to dream and make sure my wife doesn't find that account statement.....

Is this a SHTF scenario?

Rifle would be some sort of 3006. Ammo is everywhere and it has been as accurate in my mitts as the vaunted 308.

Shotgun would be the good ole 870.

Now the pistol is a hard choice.

If I could have any, I think it would be a Glock 19/17. 9mm is plentiful and my Glocks have never malfed on all sorts of abuse that I have put them through. Now that could be said for my Paras, but in all honesty I see far more Glocks in 9mm around then the entire Para line up.

Sounds like Patriot had a mighty interesting military experience.

Only three?

Reality.....
Rifle: My Steyr Scout JC Package in .308
Shotgun: My custom Rem 870
Pistol: My HK USP45

Lots of other pieces in the quiver would be sexier or bring the "ooooo's and aaaaaah's", but I don't care about that in a bug-out scenario. Comes down to practicality, reliability, and weight.

Cheers,
Mike
