After researching 1911s under $1000, I got down to
596442
the AlphaFoxtrot and Fusion Riptide 1911. At $899, I decided I couldn’t get a better made 1911, with all the options I wanted even close to that price, so I purchased the AF. AF only comes in 9mm at the moment, but, as a result, recoil is minimal and shots are right on. I know diehards are saying *** it’s not a 45, but look around most companies are putting out 9mm options now for the reasons I mentioned above.
Would also loved to have gotten a Fusion Riptide, but you can’t have everything. Anyone out there shooting a Fusion; if so how is it.

Nice I've got two 1911's, a Springfield Range Officer Champion that i picked up used for 600.00 and looked to have not been shot that much. Then I picked up a month ago a Sig Emperor Scorpion Carry for 1048.00 out the door
