I'm having new sights put on and was wondering if anyones had any experience with Heinie sights? I've always had Novak's but wanted to try something else.

I just had Jim Garthwaite put Heinie sights on my Hi Power and I REALLY like them! I much prefer their sight picture over the Novaks.

I like the Heinie sights but I think the Novaks look better on the Hi Power.

Just took the Novak off my Springfield and replaced it with a Heinie because I like the plain rear view of the Heinie. The Novak is too busy for me. I must admit, though, the Novak looks better on the pistol. FWIW

Those pictures of the work Jim Garthwaite? did on your Hi-Power are great! I am considering the same treatment to my '69 Hi-power. Are you satisfied with his work? Was it timely? If I may ask, how much did you have to pay for what he did?
