This is a Government 5” XSE slide that had factory staked on front sight and combat rear. I sent it to Novak’s for new dovetail sights and couldn’t be happier with the job they did.
It just came back from Novak's. Kevin Stump cut the slide and installed the sights. Not a mark was on the slide when it came back. Great service, one-week turnaround and beautiful work.

I had some time yesterday to shoot her at the range. At 50’ the windage was dead balls, the POI holding a 6 o’clock aim, was a tad low. If I cover the bulls eye with the front sight she’s right on target. Seems like I have to adjust nothing. Great sight picture and easy to see the front sight, quite a improvement over the factory combat sights.
