Hi Gary,
Only Odin I have heard of is the Norse God or the company that manufactures daggers. Do you have some images of this gun or other markings? Lots of importers in VA. sure thats not just the importers mark?

Ty,
We've had this puppy around here for over 15 years. It is not an import stamp but actual manufacturer's ID. Maybe it was something Interarms was fooling around with, beats me. Just curious.
Thanks,
Gary

There was a line of 1911 copies put out by Odin years ago, which included some models with the Seecamps double action conversion factory installed. I think that was the Viking.

I think this is a major reason why the 1911 has a bum rap for being unreliable. At the last gun show I went to I stopped counting the number of oddball 1911s with no-name frames and/or slides. There must have been dozens of cheap parts guns there. It's worse than the situation with ARs, and that's saying something!
